By Road
Cruachan Stoer B&B is conveniently located beside the B869 single-track road on the North Coast 500 route between Stoer and Clashnessie; see the map above.
From the South: Drive north on the A835 to Ullapool. Continue on the A837 towards Lochinver.
Approximately one mile before reaching Lochinver, turn right onto the B869 single-track road. After 7 miles, pass the village of Stoer going towards Clashnessie. Cruachan is on the left just after the yellow building.
From the North: Take the single track road to Drumbeg B869 just after Kylesku. Drive through Clashnessie and on for another mile, and Cruachan is on the right.
Roadside parking is available directly in front of the property, with secure parking in the driveway if required.s Clashnessie.
By Bus
From Inverness, take the bus to Ullapool Ferry Terminal. From Ullapool, take either the 815 or 809 service towards Drumbeg.
Ask the driver to drop you off at Stoer Village Hall. From there, Cruachan Stoer B&B is a short walk north towards Clashnessie.
By Air
Inverness Airport is the main airport serving the Highlands. From Inverness, you can hire a car or travel into the city centre by bus before continuing your journey north. Inverness Airport offers regular flights to and from several UK cities and Amsterdam.
